Focus Ireland
Challenging Homelessness. Changing lives. Focus Ireland firmly believes in every individual’s right to a place they can truly call home. Established in Dublin during the 1980s, it originated from Sr Stanislaus Kennedy’s research on the needs of women facing homelessness. Over the years, Focus Ireland’s services have expanded, while their research and advocacy work ensure that the homelessness crisis remains at the forefront of political discussions.
ICOES contributes to Focus Ireland’s PETE (Preparation for Education, Training, Employment) service by providing access to training courses for both Focus Ireland staff and individuals utilising their services. This support fosters personal and professional growth, enabling them to embark on a path towards a brighter future. ICOES is committed to making education accessible to as many people as possible, aligning with its core mission.
